Honda, in collaboration with Channel 7,announces its readiness to hold the Honda LPGA THAILAND 2014 golf tournament, offering 1.5 million USD in prizes

Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn (4th from left), Executive Vice President; Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with Mr. Palakorn Somsuwan (5th from right), Managing Director of BBTV Channel 7 and co-sponsor, along with other Honda executives, announced the “Honda LPGA THAILAND 2014”, a women’s professional golf tournament that will offer prize money of 1.5 million USD, or 46 million THB. This year, the tournament will feature the world’s top 60 women golfers from the LPGA Priority List including Inbee Park, Suzann Pettersen and Stacy Lewis, as well as Thai professionals Pornanong Phatlum and Moriya Jutanugarn, along with 10 exemptions who will join.

In addition to the prize money, Honda will offer a special hole-in-one prize for the Par-3 16th hole – a new Honda Accord 2.4 EL Navi worth 1.66 million Baht. The tournament will take place from 20 to 24 February, 2014, at the Old Course of the Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Chonburi.
