In addition to achieving the IHS Automotive accolade, Jaguar Land Rover has recently been awarded ‘Best British Luxury Brand’ Title at Walpole Awards, and was a double winner at the Scottish Car of the Year Awards 2014. Jaguar’s F-TYPE Coupe was awarded the ‘Dream Car’ accolade, while the Range Rover Sport won ‘Best SUV’ in the Women's World Car of the Year awards 2014.
As a result of its highly successful global product introductions, Jaguar Land Rover sold 425,006 vehicles in 2013, up 19%. Of that, Jaguar sold 76,668 vehicles and Land Rover sold 348,338 vehicles. The company is one of the UK’s largest exporters and generates in the region of 85% of its revenue from exports. Jaguar Land Rover will invest between £3.5 and £3.7 billion in its products and facilities in the financial year to March 2015. In Thailand, the company has enjoyed a recent sales boost from the Bangkok Motor Expo 2014, with the Range Rover Evoque in particular representing a popular option for buyers in the luxury sports SUV sector.
