Honda Big Bike Surprises the Market with All New CBR1000RR the ultimate sport bike that will be launched by Nicky Hayden, former MotoGP champion

A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., the official distributor of Honda motorcycle in Thailand, strengthens its leadership in sport bike with the launches of All New Honda CBR1000RR andAll New Honda CBR1000RR SP. The new models will be launched under "Total Control" concept that outshine with their powerful engine, borrowed from that used in the racing circuit. The bikes are also enhanced with electronic control device that makes every ride more fun. The bikes are also the most light-weight in its class. Nicky Hayden, 2006 MotoGP champion from the USA, and Stefan Bradl, 2011 Moto2 World Champion who is now with Red Bull Honda World Superbike team, will fly in to join the launch. Thai users will have the chance to experience the new models, which will be world-premiered, and secure the vehicles at the 38th Bangkok International Motorshow

"The trend of Big Bikes in Thailand has constantly grown, especially the sport category, by 15%, compared to other categories. CBR model from Honda is well known for its performance and control which has long been liked by users. The CBR1000RR which was first launched in 1992, is the most popular model, has been developed to combine the higher performance and better control until today," said Suchart Arunsaengroj, Vice President, A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., the official distributor of Honda Big Bike in Thailand.

"All New Honda CBR1000RR has been developed into supersport bike that has taken the advanced technology from those in the racing circuit and perfectly install it into Big Bike for users on the streets. With its light-weight, the new model is easier and more precise to control. The stylish design of a racing bike comes with more vibrant color. CBR1000RR SP, the top model with advanced technology borrowed from racing circuit, will also be premiered in Thailand.

The two models of All New Honda CBR1000RR are four-cylinder sportbike, with 1000cc engine, light-weight body, high-compression at 13.0, and also puts out 141kW at 13,000rpm. The riding performance has been enhanced by advanced technology, including TBW & APS (Throttle by Wire), censor engraved under the handlebar grip that meets your desire to accelerate the speed; Power Selector; HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control); andEngine Brake Control that can be adjusted to the user's need. The new models also come with LED headlight, taillight, and winker lights, as well as light-weight titanium muffler which make the vehicles stand out from others. CBR1000RR comes in two colors; Victory Red and Mat Ballistic Black Metallic.

Moreover, All New CBR1000RR SP comes in new design, Tri-color (Victory Red) and titanium fuel tank that makes the model, 17kg, most light-weighted in its class. The model is also enhanced with advanced technology that borrowed from those used in the racing circuit, such as Quick Shifter that automatically changes the gears, OHLINS, Monoblock 4 Pot from Brembo – all equipped for a better riding performance and control.
