Goodyear proudly announces that the new Ultra-High Performance tire Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has been accredited with original equipment fitments on the new Porsche Panamera in addition to the OE series fitted in Mercedes Benz E-Class (W213), Jaguar XF and BMW 5 -Series (G30).

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has now launched in Thailand since February 2017. The tire, developed to meet the needs of powerful sedan and sports car drivers, was approved with a mixed fitment, with size 265/45ZR19 (105Y) XL on the front axle and 295/40ZR19 (108Y) XL on the rear.

The Panamera is a sports car without compromise for everyday use with four seats, an unmistakable silhouette and performance figures associated only with a Porsche. To answer Porsche's requirements, Goodyear developed the tire by focusing on ultimate handling performance with an eye on low rolling resistance. The tires will be marked 'N0', to indicate these are approved by Porsche as Original Equipment on its vehicles.

A key feature of Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is the new grip booster compound, which ensures increased grip during braking and handling on both dry and wet roads to stay in control and enjoy your journey. The new reinforced construction technology allows for steering precision and durability by delivering a stronger, lightweight construction also improving handling, cornering performance, tread wear and fuel efficiency.

Nick Harley, Goodyear's Managing Director OE Consumer EMEA, said: "We are proud to announce that once again we have been chosen by a renowned car manufacturer such as Porsche to equip its new exciting vehicle. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is the perfect match for the Porsche Panamera thanks to its state-of-the-art technologies, which will allow drivers to enjoy sporty driving by ensuring excellent handling in all conditions."
