Mr. Roland Sebastian Folger, aged 59, has been a part of Daimler AG since 1979. Mr. Folger was appointed as President & CEO of Daimler-Benz Representative Office in Singapore between 1988 and 1989.

He returned to Daimler AG's headquarters in 1990 and assumed responsibility for the Passenger Cars Sales function supporting Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia. Two years later, he became a Personal Assistant to the group's Board Member for Passenger Cars Sales & Marketing. From the end of 1993 to 1995, Mr. Folger was a part of the pioneering team introducing the first M-Class in the United States as he served the position of Vice President for Sales, Marketing, and After Sales.

After a remarkable accomplishment in the United States, Mr. Folger took a seat at Daimler AG's global head office again in 1997 where he managed VIP Sales, Central, Special Protective Vehicles, AMG, Technical Accessories, and Merchandise.
