Yanmar Co., Ltd., inventor and manufacturer of compact zero tail swing excavators for over 50 years, introduces the Yanmar 1.7-ton ViO17 Excavator. The ViO17 works well in the confined spaces found in many city and urban areas with the excavator's True Zero Tail Swing delivering superior agility and maneuverability. The equipment operator does not have to worry about the tail hitting anything while working. With Yanmar's engine and hydraulics expertise, the ViO17 Excavator has excellent performance and durability and is a favorite of users around the world.

Hydraulic Set for Power Take-Off (PTO) means that the ViO17 Excavator has the versatility to handle a wide variety of jobs, from concrete demolition with a breaker to plumbing with a narrow bucket.

Yanmar's TNV Direct Injection System is controlled electronically for precise and accurate timing and fuel volume delivery. With constant power control of the engine, the excavator can save more fuel. Eco Mode can also be selected for increased fuel efficiency. It can reduce fuel consumption from normal operation by up to 15%. This model is also equipped with automatic reduction of the engine stroke when the machine stops working. Yanmar also designed the circuit of the hydraulic system in all Yanmar excavator models to reduce the pressure loss by minimizing oil flow resistance, without degrading internal engine part performance. This results in a longer engine lifetime and reduced risk of hydraulic oil leaks during operation.

Yanmar places emphasis on the quality of all materials used with regards to strength and durability without sacrificing the operator's performance. For instance, Yanmar uses steel for the engine cover; unlike other typical producers who use plastic, which can reduce costs, but at the expense of durability.

The Yanmar ViO 17 Excavator is manufactured by Yanmar Construction Equipment Co., Ltd., Japan. The design and manufacturing base is in Fukuoka, Kyushu, in the south of Japan. The latest Yanmar ViO 17 model is 720,000 baht. A test drive is available today at a Yanmar dealer near you. Call 1638 for more information.
