R้my Cointreau’s existing portfolio of high added value brands includes R้my Martin Cognac, Cointreau, Piper Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck Champagne, St. Remy Brandy, Mount Gay Rum, Metexa Greek Rum, Passoa, and world’s most luxurious cognac, Louis XIII.
The company has set aside 10 percent of total Thai sales in 2011 for its marketing budget, and plans to launch new products R้my Martin VSOP (Limited Edition), Mount Gay Rum to its target group of high-end consumers and those discerning groups who appreciate fine quality spirits.
“Our business strategy is to move actively in the Thai market in 2011 by launching a wave of new products. We also provide training sessions for new cocktail recipes and encouraging the restaurant owners to elevate their business as to the international standard,” said Kittipat Chaiyakul, Marketing Director for R้my Cointreau product.
The key trade channel for R้my Cointreau products in Thailand are five stars hotels and premium clubs and bars, which contribute 70 percent of total sales. In Thailand, Remy Cointreau group products are exclusively distributed via Ambrose Wine Limited.
