Mr. John Christie, CEO of Tesco Lotus and Ms. Wiboonlasana Ruamraksa, Internal Trade Department Director-General, jointly hold the "Tasty and Trendy Thai Fruits" event at Tesco Lotus Extra Ramintra to promote the consumption of seasonal Thai fruits including mangosteen, rambutan, lychee, long-gong and sala, as a show of support for Thai fruit farmers, who face one of the most challenging drought seasons in recent years. This year, Tesco Lotus will purchase 8.5 million kilograms of seasonal Thai fruits through its direct sourcing programme, as the retailer remains committed to supporting Thai farmers throughout the volatile season.
