Realizing the commercial potential of this trend, the company decided to import premium dairy products from 'Candia Professional,' a French brand which holds the largest market share in France, to the Thai market. Over a period of 1 year since 'Candia Professional' was introduced to the food business sector in the Thai market, the brand has received a very positive response. The company, therefore, plans a strategy to penetrate the market with a full force. This year, 'Candia Professional' announces a major rebranding to prepare for the current business situation and the future growth. The brand-new Candia Professional will be officially unveiled at the 15th THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2018 during May 29 - June 2, 2018 at IMPACT Exhibition Center, Muang Thong Thani. Highlights at the event include cooking shows by professional chefs from Thailand and abroad where visitors can taste the food, and the competition 'Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge,' all of which are expected to receive a good response just like every year in the past.

Regarding the feedback of 'Candia Professional' in Thailand, Miss Preeyada Sripiboon commented, "At the moment, the product of Candia Professional with the highest sales in Thailand is the cream category (whipping cream). Our target is the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) across the country. This year, the company will also focus on increasing brand awareness, along with activities for consumers to have a chance to try the products so that they have a better understanding of the quality of 'Candia Professional.' These activities are aimed at food and dessert chefs who need world-class quality dairy products and also those who want to add a touch of French taste to the food they make."

'Candia Professional' has 5 production bases in France: 2 for butter, 2 for cream, and 1 for cream cheese. The five production bases are still able to accommodate the current rate of the business expansion. The sales volumes in the past year of 'Candia Professional' were 7,162 tones worldwide (excluding the European market) and 124 tones in Thailand. Factors for growth include the growing market for dairy products in Thailand and Asia, a growing interest for western cuisine and pastry among the consumers in this region, and the increasing influence of western tastes in food service.
