3BB provides new internet service via fiber-optic network on FTTH technology (Fiber to the Home), 100 Mbps maximum speed. The first commercial service is at Samut Sakhon, associated with D-Land Group – real estate developer in South Bangkok and Samut Sakhon – whose the luxurious Porto Villa is provided service.

Mr.Pete Bodharamik, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine Group, reveals that now 3BB uses the latest technology of fiber-optic network “FTTH: Fiber to the Home”. With 100 Mbps maximum speed, this technology will provide faster and better data transmission and also multimedia services as Triple Play such as Video Conference, E-Learning, Video on Demand or Pay per View, etc. Besides, the various contents will meet the limitless demands of customers in the future.

“3BB has joined D-Land Group Co., Ltd., the accepted real estate developer in South Bangkok and Samut Sakhon. The fiber-optic network is set in Porto Villa and will be expanded to other provinces such as Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, etc. The package price starts at 1,200 baht (9 Mbps/2 Mbps) and maximum 6,990 baht (100 Mbps/10 Mbps),” Mr.Pete adds.

Mr.Siriphong Somboon, Executive Vice Managing Director of D-Land Group, says that Porto Villa is the masterpiece of the company, located on Rama 2 road. The 80,000 square metre area, more than 1.25 million baht, consists of 103 houses with 5 different styles whose price is between 6-12 million baht. The houses, designed under the concept “Boutique and Luxury Living”, match up lifestyle of young generation – focus on roominess, airy, modern design and natural green space, with new security system “Triple Security”: VDO Door Phone for every house; RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) which the house owner can see the visitors since they come; and CCTV covering the whole area.

Moreover, next year there will be a grand opening of “Porto Chino”, the biggest and modernest lifestyle mall in front of Porto Villa. With the capital budget 500 million baht, this mall will include the various zones with more than 150 leading brands: food and beverage, health and beauty, service and business transaction, education, fashion, and supermarket. Therefore, “FTTH; Fiber to the Home” will become one service not only corresponding the concept and feature of the project but also well satisfying young generation’s demand and future technology.

3BB aims at, on 2013, becoming the leader of broadband market which has the market share above 40%, gaining 2 million from 4-5 million customers, and also expects to make double income, at 20,000 million baht, and make above 900,000 customers in third quarter. On the average, company will obtain 35,000 new customers per month which can be considered better than the opponents.
