Meet Google, BT, LINE and over 600 teleco players at Telecoms World Asia 2018

Over the past decade, the telecoms industry has undergone a significant overhaul, brought about by the advancement of technology, competition from unconventional players and fall in traditional revenue sources. Recent years have seen telecom operators getting on the "Digital Transformation" bandwagon, as efforts are put into changing business models, creating new partnerships and improving network infrastructure in order to support the demands of a global digital economy.

Telecoms World Asia 2018 (19 – 20 March, Bangkok, Thailand) brings together an agenda that addresses the key issues operators are facing today, classified under three key themes – Wholesale Carriers, Networks and Telco 4.0 – with the focus on Digital Transformation running throughout the sessions.

Day 1 of the conference brings a keynote panel on the topic of "Addressing the challenge of security in a connected world". Moderated by Marin Ivezic, Partner, Risk Assurance and Cyber Security, Pwc, he will be joined by the following panelists:
