the "Jewels of Baroque" Concert
on Wednesday February 26, 2003, 7:30 pm.
at the Siam City Hotel's Garden Pavilion.

Siam City Hotel, The Austrian Embassy and the Thai-Austrian Music School Foundation present the "Jewels of Baroque" Concert on Wednesday evening, 26th February 2003 at 7.30pm.   The concert will feature a light and lively program of compositions for flute, oboe, violin, cello and harpsichord by Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann and Fasch, performed by accomplished International Master Players of the College of Music, Mahidol University.

Hiroshi Matsushima on Flute, Hans Georg Jacobi on Oboe and English Horn, Juris Madrevics on Violin, Goesta Meuller on Keyboard and Harpsichord and Gudula Urban on Cello will perform concertos and sonatas from Baroque courtyards and palaces.   These talented musicians hail from Austria, Latvia and Japan and have formal qualifications in music and an impressive list of performances around the world Siam City Hotel's outdoor Garden Pavilion is the perfect setting for such a concert, with twinkling fairy lights and a relaxed romantic atmosphere. Guests that arrive early can enjoy light refreshments from the hotels latest dining venue, the newly opened "Spice & Rice" Thai Restaurant, conveniently located at the edge of the Garden Pavilion.

Tickets are just Bht. 350 for adults and Bht. 100 for students and can be obtained directly from the hotel on 02 247 0123 ext. 1928 or alternatively ring and book a seat then pay on the night.   It is recommended that tickets be booked early as only limited seating is available.
