CP Vietnam named among top 100 sustainable companies in Vietnam

The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) has named CP Vietnam Corporation among 100 sustainable firms in the country, demonstrating the company's outstanding performance in the area of Economy, Society and Environment. The certification was given by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue.

Mr. Montri Suwanposri, President of CP Vietnam told that the company has improved the standard of food industry. New innovations and techniques are being used to ensure of environmental friendly process from farm to food.

"The sense of social responsibility is engrained in every Thai and Vietnamese employee. We cultivate all employees to be a giver through several of our projects and activities. Subsequently, the government and society has recognized us as one of the companies that drive Vietnam toward sustainable economy.

Mr.Chamnan Wangakkarangkul, Executive Vice President, Animal Feed & Breeder Business at CP Vietnam, announced that the company has committed to be a responsible enterprise that grow sustainably together with the society. Being a part of sustainable firms reflected that the company has delivered this promise.

"For 25 years, the company has operated based on CP Foods' core philosophy "3-Benefit to Sustainability for the Country, People, and Company," he said. "Our top priority is to produce safe foods with responsible and transparent supply chain. Stakeholders must be able to trace our products back to the sources,"

He added that the company also support farmers and suppliers to develop sustainable practice in accordance to CP Foods' the Sustainable Sourcing Policy and Supplier Guiding Principle.
