Beyond Beauty ASEAN Bangkok ("BBAB") is all about finding new opportunities and helping exhibitors and buyers to form strategic business alliances. The 6th edition which is scheduled from 19 to 21 September 2019 at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, presents a new focus on Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam ("CLMV") for the Thai beauty market.

CLMV markets offer huge opportunities for Thai brands

Together, the CLMV region and Thailand have a combined population of over 240 million and a GDP growth of 6.2% per annum. The CLMV economy will continue its high growth at 6-7% per annum while Thailand's trade volume with this region amounts to more than $35 billion dollars.*

"With rising income and the rapid expansion of internet access in the region, e-commerce has tremendous growth potential. Currently, top e-commerce products in CLMV markets includes fashion, health & beauty products, hence offering attractive business opportunities for Thailand." said Mrs. Ketmanee Lertkitcha, Deputy Secretary - General and Chair of Cosmetics Industry Group, The Federation of Thai Industries and President of Thai Cosmetic Manufacturers Association.

Peerayaphan Pongsanam, Project Manager of Exhibition Project, IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. ("IMPACT") said, "Beyond Beauty ASEAN Bangkok (BBAB) has built up strong relationships in the past five years with key associations in CLMV countries. A series of roadshows will be planned in Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam to promote the event, raise brand awareness and recruit buyers to visit the show. The growth over the years illustrates the vitality of the Southeast Asian beauty economy, reinforcing Bangkok's position as the gateway to ASEAN countries".

Together with Myanmar Cosmetics Association, Laos Cosmetics Association, Vietnam Essential Oil and Aromatherapy Cosmetics Association and other organizations in the beauty industry, BBAB 2019 will welcome more than 80 companies from CLMV markets sourcing specifically for Thai beauty products.
