Alibaba Cloud Partners INET to Provide World-Class Cloud Services in Thailand

Internet Thailand Plc. (INET), a leading ICT services provider in Thailand announced a distribution partnership with Alibaba Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group. The partnership will bring Alibaba Cloud's proven products and solutions that have been supporting Alibaba Group's international business activities to Thailand with the strong market presence and service capabilities of INET.

INET offers a wide range of ICT services including consulting, planning, data management, and international-standard cloud services based on its reliable and secure infrastructure and data center in Thailand.

Alibaba Cloud is among the world's top three IaaS providers and Asia Pacific's No. 1 for IaaS and IUS (Infrastructure Utility Services) in terms of market share for two consecutive years, according to Gartner. It is China's largest provider of public cloud services according to IDC. The company signed a distributor agreement with INET for providing Alibaba Cloud Computing services in Thailand.

Ms. Morragot Kulatumyotin, Managing Director of INET said: "From the beginning of 2020, INET has been appointed as the first distributor for Alibaba Cloud in Thailand, offering Alibaba Cloud products to local resellers and customers in any industry segments. Under this partnership, customers will benefit from INET's strong platform and specialized service professionals with local expertise, as well as Alibaba Cloud's leading technology and industrial know-how. Both companies will also provide offline and online training and seminars to help Thai businesses to get a better understanding of cloud products. "

Alibaba Cloud services will allow businesses to ease their IT operation burdens and facilitate management with cost-effective solutions. Alibaba Cloud service portfolio will include but not limited to:
  • ECS Auto Scaling automatically adjusts the volume of computing resources for increasing or decreasing workloads, enabling businesses to manage operating costs more efficiently.
  • Web Application Firewall protects web applications and websites from cybersecurity threats. WAF will detect and block malicious traffics, secure business data and prevent any failures caused by security attacks.
  • ApsaraDB for RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSQL), ApsaraDB for MongoDB provide stable, reliable, and scalable online database service. Based on a distributed file system designed by Alibaba Cloud and incorporated with high-performance SSDs provides a complete database solution that includes backup, recovery, monitoring, migration, and a comprehensive suite of database-optimized functions that allow you to focus on developing better applications.
  • Container Service is a high-performance and scalable container application management service that enables you to use Docker and Kubernetes to manage the lifecycle of containerized applications. Container Service for Kubernetes simplifies the deployment and scale-out operations of Kubernetes clusters and integrates Alibaba Cloud capabilities of virtualization, storage, networking, and security. Based on these capabilities, Container Service for Kubernetes provides an ideal runtime environment for Kubernetes-based containerized applications. Container Service is one of the first certified service platforms that obtain the certificate of conformance from Kubernetes in the world.
