CKPower Group Makes Donations to Ramathibodi Foundation and the Lao PDR to Support the fight against COVID-19

Mr. Thanawat Trivisvavet, the Managing Director of CK Power Public Company Limited (CKPower) or "CKP" in the SET, said that last week CKPower and its subsidiaries, namely Nam Ngum 2 Power Company Limited and Xayaburi Power Company Limited, donated money and 3,000 boxes of food worth a total of 1,000,000 Baht to the Ramathibodi Foundation to support the fight against the propagation of the COVID-19 virus. The 3,000 boxes of food were supplied to the medical team at Ramadhibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital.

In addition, CKPower Group, the operator of 2 Hydroelectric Power Plants in the Lao PDR, namely Nam Ngum 2 Hydroelectric Power Plant and Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Plant, together with CH.Karnchang (Lao) Company Limited donated 1,000,000 baht to the Ministry of Health of the Lao PDR through the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane to show goodwill and concern in coping with the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

“CKPower and its subsidiaries do realize the necessity to help support the government and the public sector to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus as soon as possible. CKPower would like to convey our highest regard and appreciation to all Thai and Lao public health officers, doctors and nurses. The Company is ready to fully cooperate with the government in order to overcome this crisis together," Mr. Thanawat added.
