SAP today unveiled significant enhancements to SAP(R) App Center, where customers can discover, try and buy trusted partner apps based on SAP solutions. In addition, the company announced free global access to software demonstration environments to help partners navigate today’s business landscape and create best-run businesses for their customers.

These announcements, made recently at the SAP Global Partner Summit Online, will allow SAP to continue to quickly and efficiently serve partners and customers.

“To win in the experience economy, organizations have to continuously improve the core experiences of business – customer, product, employee and brand,” said said Karl Fahrbach, chief partner officer, SAP. “With these investments, we’re bringing a whole new level of partner commitment — uniquely designed to improve experiences and drive success for our customers, while helping our partners to deepen customer relationships and deliver the intelligent enterprise that will continue to improve and change our world.”

SAP App Center Delivers Improved User Experience for Customers and Partners

SAP App Center includes over 1,500 partner solutions for use across all SAP products lines and industries. Customers can easily look for solutions based on the SAP product they want to extend, the certification level, the publisher and the type of solution, all in a user-friendly format. Additional improvements include enhanced product pages and streamlined calls to action.

SAP App Center is the only place where SAP partners can market and deliver solutions with go-to-market (GTM) activities to SAP’s 440,000-plus customers. The new partner cockpit lets partners manage opportunities, from initial start to closed deals, in one easy-to-use place, and they can track the performance of solutions on SAP App Center via the analytics dashboard. Additional support for all deal types — one-time, subscription, consumption-based, upsell and renewal, and more — is available to help partners close deals faster than ever. The new publishing cockpit makes it simple and easy for partners to onboard new solutions and maintain existing ones.

SAP technology — including SAP Commerce Cloud solutions, the open-source project “Spartacus,” the Kyma runtime for SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory, and the SAP Cloud Platform Integration service — brings these enhancements to life.

Higher-Quality Customer Projects Delivered by Partners

The partner delivery quality framework is designed to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality projects and improved partner and customer experiences. It provides a set of standard processes, tools and reporting aids to help partners train and enable their delivery resources and monitor quality across projects. It also awards grants for consultant education and incentives for partner investments, emphasizing customer success. Additionally, SAP will increase its own investment in partner learning and enablement and provide services to support partner implementation projects and customer adoption.

Free Access

SAP provides partners* with free access to an integrated, preconfigured software demonstration environment to expedite sales conversations. It provides free access to some of the most popular intelligent enterprise demonstration scenarios, covering a wide range of integrated solutions and embedded intelligence technologies. This can help ensure they have the skills and resources to deliver a frictionless and consistent end-to-end demo experience for their customers.

Furthermore, SAP is announcing 12 months of free access for partners to test and demo systems on SAP S/4HANA(R) Cloud, the leading intelligent enterprise software. This offer will also be available on the SAP Business ByDesign(R) solution, the complete, integrated, adaptable cloud solution for midmarket companies and subsidiaries of large enterprises. The new offers will be available from July 1, 2020. Partners can qualify on SAPPartnerEdge.com.

“The supports announced today is extremely valuable to our business and our customers,” said Supreeda Jirawongsri, Principal of ABeam Consulting Thailand.
