KBank and ICC jointly launch His & Her – KBank Credit Card – To expand credit cardholder base to 200,000, with 20 billion Baht spending

KASIKORNBANK joining hands with I.C.C. International Plc., a fashion product giant, has introduced His & Her – KBank Credit Card, as a ground-breaking phenomenon in the fashion product circle. Under the concept “Shopping with Best Value, Meeting Every Lifestyle”, the co-branded credit card aims to meet all lifestyles of shoppers with the offer of financial service privileges and discounts from more than 60 leading brands plus ongoing exclusive promotional campaigns. The Bank targets to issue 100,000 His & Her –KBank Credit Cards this year.

Mr. Krisada Lamsam, Senior Executive Vice President, KASIKORNBANK, revealed that the Bank in collaboration with I.C.C. International Plc., a leading company within Saha Group, have launched “His & Her KBank Credit Card” under the concept “Shopping with Best Value, Meeting Every Lifestyle”. The co-branded credit card, the first of its kind targeting shoppers of trendy fashion products of I.C.C., a manufacturer and distributor of famous fashion products for all ages and genders, offers multiple benefits, especially special discounts, promotional campaigns plus financial privileges (from KBank). The Bank is confident that the number of His & Her KBank Credit Card will reach 100,000 this year, and 300,000 within three years, with spending of more than 20 billion Baht.

K-Credit Card currently ranks first in the market in terms of spending via card. The success can be attributed to the Bank’s pro-active marketing activities along with the introduction of co-branded credit cards with numerous business partners, which can well meet diverse lifestyles of each customer segment. Out of 2.56 million K-Credit Cards now in circulation, around 500,000 are co-branded credit cards. In 2013, the Bank aims to add new 650,000 credit cardholders, putting the total to 3 million, with spending expected to increase by at least 30 percent over the 2012 year-end, standing at 219 billion Baht.

Mr.Thamarat Chokwatana, Director and Executive Vice President, I.C.C International Plc., said that His & Her Plus Point card, a part of the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) program, features discounts and point accumulation for purchasing products of more than 60 leading brands, namely BSC, Wacoal, Arrow, Lacoste, Daks, ELLE, Guy Laroche. Presently, there are more than 1.8 million His & Her Plus Point card members, reflecting overwhelming response of customers.

The company always strives to serve customer needs through a policy of continual product and service development. With the success of KBank in the co-branded credit card market, the company has thus forged an alliance with the Bank to create “His & Her – KBank Credit Card”. This marketing and financial innovation demonstrates their determined effort to offer superior benefits for the optimum satisfaction of both existing His & Her Plus Point card members and new customers.

Marketing campaigns have thus been staged, with a budget of more than 70 million Baht, to grant numerous privileges to the co-branded credit cardholders. For instance, customers buying products of more than 60 leading brands at the company’s outlets or over 6,000 sales points of leading department stores will get discounts of up to 10 percent. They will also get additional 3 percent discounts at H.H Shop, His & Her Shop and ICC’s Brand Shops namely WACOAL SHOP, ARROW SHOP, ELLE SHOP, LACOSTE BOUTIQUE, DAKS SHOP, NATURALIZER SHOP, totaling 260 outlets across the country. What’s more, they will earn double bonus points from both His & Her Plus Point Card and K-Credit Card (His & Her Reward Points and KBank Reward Points). KBank Reward Points can be transferred to His & Her Reward Points which can be converted to cash for immediate purchase of products at the company’s outlets or be redeemed for lifestyle products from His & Her Shop Smart catalog or for participation in special activities exclusively held for the card members.
