Bangkok Bank Director and Executive Vice President Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom said Bangkok Bank has prepared special promotions for Home Buyers’ Expo 2013 and Home Loan 2013, including a special Bualuang Home Loan interest rate of 1.90% in the first year and MLR-0.50% for the remainder of the loan term for customers who take out a loan of Baht 1-4.99 million. Customers will also receive an additional interest rate discount of 0.30% if they buy Home 1st credit protection insurance, so the home loan interest rate in the first year will be 1.60%. Customers who take out a Bualuang Home Loan of Baht 5 million or more will receive a special interest rate of 1.75% in the first year and MLR-0.50% for the remainder of the loan term, plus an interest rate discount of 0.35% when buying Home 1st credit protection insurance, so the home loan interest rate in the first year will be 1.40%. The maximum loan is up to 90% of the appraised value. The Bualuang Home Loan special offers cover detached houses, townhouses, condominiums, commercial buildings, building a residential property, or refinancing from another financial institution.
The bank will also offer 350 properties valued at Baht 1,200 million at the fair. 250 of these are in Bangkok and the surrounding metropolitan area with the remaining 100 properties in provincial areas. The properties for sale will include detached houses, townhouses, condominiums, commercial buildings, apartments, office buildings, factories and empty land and will receive special discounts of up to 35% at the fair. The special Bualuang Home Loan interest rate of 1.75% in the first year, plus an additional discount of 0.35% when buying Home 1st credit protection insurance (1.40% including the discount), will be available to purchasers of any property from the bank at the fair. The interest rate for the remainder of the loan term is MLR-1.00% and the maximum loan is up to 90% of the property value. Bualuang Poonphol, a multi-purpose personal loan, will be available at the special interest rate of MLR-1.00% in the first year and at MLR for the remainder of the loan term, plus a discount of 0.25% when buying Home 1st credit protection insurance which takes the first year interest rate down to MLR-1.25%. The maximum credit line is 100% of the value of the loan purpose or up to 90% of the appraised value of the collateral. Bualuang Saan Fun, a personal overdraft loan, will be offered at an interest rate of MRR+0.50% and the interest will be charged only on the funds borrowed, not the loan facility.
Every customer who receives approval for any Bualuang Loan and takes out the loan will also receive a Hallmark silk bedding set valued at up to Baht 15,400 as a special gift, Dr. Thaweelap added.
The event incorporates four housing fairs — NPA Grand Sale 2013, Home Loan 2013, Home Buyers’ Expo 2013 and Home Builder Expo 2013 — which will all be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center during 22-25 August 2013.
