"KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited by Mrs. Kandtharat Chermchitphong, Senior Vice President – Public & Corporate Affairs, is offering support to the fifth "National Digital Voice Year", the digital sound library project. Initiated by Nation Radio in collaboration with Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the royal patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, this project aims to fulfill the needs of people with visual impairment who are unable to read on their own. More than 600,000 people in Thailand or 1% of the population are blind or experiencing visual difficulties. Only a little over 11,000 of them received basic education. Given the circumstances, KTC believes in the need to help them afford the opportunities they deserve.

A "KTC team" is established, comprising volunteers, students under the "Learn and Earn @ KTC program" and other employees, to participate in this project. Team members will take turn to read their favorite books in order to inspire those with visual impairment, and to share with them useful knowledge or stories through the audio books.

Members who are interested in helping with the audio books can apply until August 31st, 2016 at Nation Radio. Applicants can call 0-2338-3681-2 to book a recording session.
