SET President Kesara Manchusree stated, "In line with the "Thailand 4.0" policy to furtherdevelop the country's economy towards stability, prosperity and sustainability, this year SET has laid out strategic plan to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especiallystartups, by launching the innovative training project. It aims to transfer knowledge to more than 700 university's lecturers teaching entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, on how to inject innovation into startup business. The lecturers will then adjust the curriculum accordingly. This corresponds with SET's vision 'To Make the Capital Market Work for Everyone' by continuously enhancing the Thai capital market for the benefit of all sectors for the country."
The "Innovative Startup @ University" will be organized four times this year in Bangkok andkey provinces nationwide. The first training session is scheduled on March 25-26, 2017 at SET building. Among the well-known trainers are Patai Padungtin, Principal & Evangelist @ Builk ASIA, and Pun-Arj Chairatana, Ph.D. Director of National Innovation Agency.
