Recently, "KTC PR Press Club" operators of "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited organized a special cultural trip titled "Old but not be Forgotten" by arranging herbal and cardio tonic medical learnings at "Bamroong Chat Satsanaa Yathai" Pharmacy or "Baan Mowaan," a traditional drug store in the Sao Ching Cha area. After that, the team visited Nang Loeng community and listened to several interesting stories, such as stories about Nang Loeng Market, the first ground market in Thailand that has already been operated for more than 100 years, stories about Sala Chalerm Thani, an old theater built in the reign of King Rama VI and stories about Wat Sunthorn Thammathan or Wat Kae Nang Loeng, an old temple built during the beginning of the Rattanakosin Kingdom. The activity also included a show of "Chat Chatri Dance," a hard-to-find performance at Baan Silpa, an old house that was renovated to be a cultural learning centre for people in the community. The last program of the activity was held at Baan Ten Ram, which used to be a dancing school named "Samakkhi Lilas," a place for entertainment long time ago. For this activity, with deep knowledge of Bangkok, Mr.Napatyos Emasit, professional historian from the Bangkok Tourism Division, had presented as our guide throughout the trip.
