Thai alternative bourse organizes "mai FORUM 2017" on July 1

Market for Alternative Investment (mai), jointly with mai Listed Company Association (maiA), will organize "mai FORUM 2017" on July 1 for the fourth consecutive year, aiming to provide investors with capital market and economic information update coupled with opportunities to meet mai-listed CEOs for corporate insights on business growth potential. The forum offers a variety of products and services showcased by more than 100 mai-listed firms' booths.

mai President Praphan Charoenprawat said, "mai has been instrumental as a fundraising source for companies' capital investment for 18 years, providing opportunities for long-term quality growth. With our 2017 development plan, mai will further promote mai-listed firms to take advantage of a variety of financial instruments, while focusing more on good governance and social responsibility, as well as realizing the benefits of investor relations accountability. Significantly, this year is the first time for the forum to launch the comprehensive "mai Company Snapshot", an online version of profiles of over 100 mai-listed firms available for download at the event."

maiA President Dr. Charnkrij Dejvitak said that the association has been established for six years since 2011 with the objective to strengthen the members' network of business for further progress. In 2016, maiA established the mission of "SME Role Model", aiming to be role model for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in doing business by taking into consideration good governance, stakeholders' benefits, as well as the social enterprise or SE development. Recently, the association, together with The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and mai, has launched the "SET Social Impact Gym by mai Executives" project, a knowledge transfer of successful business operations which can benefit the society and strengthen the country's economic foundation. The mai FORUM 2017 will be a stage for mai-listed companies to show their business potential and opportunity for business expansion in the future.
