KTC organizes the “Old Town Stroll” activity with the cultural area of Banglumpoo as key destination.

KTC or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, in the capacity as the operator of the KTC PR Press Club, recently organized a Thai tour activity "Old Town Stroll" with the cultural area of Banglamphu as key destination. The trip began at the beautiful Santi Chai Prakarn Park with an old fort by the Chao Praya River before moving on to another important historic site of Pra Sumen Fort and Baan Duriyapraneet – home to a national artist and a learning center for the perpetuation of classical Thai music. Next stops were Wat Bowonniwet Vihara to appreciate the beauty of the temple hall and the outer court arts at this royal temple where kings of the Chakri Dynasty stayed during their monkhood; and Thai Nakon R.O.P – Bangkok's only surviving producer of niello products, where third generation family members shared many interesting facts about their craft. The tour concluded with a talk on the Banglumpoo way of life as a commercial and entertainment district in the old days at Pipit Banglamphu. Thanat Bhumarush, Tourist Officer, Tourism Division of BMA, was present to provide interesting facts to participants throughout the excursion, recently.
