Link to Fitch Ratings' Report: Fitch Thailand National Ratings 2016 Transition Study

Fitch Ratings has published a special report titled 'Fitch Thailand National Ratings 2016 Transition Study'. The study provides 2016 transition data on the performance of Fitch Thailand's national ratings for corporate finance (including financial and non-financial corporates) and structured finance. It also captures data for the long-term period 2002 to 2016.

National scale ratings are an opinion of creditworthiness relative to the universe of issuers and issues within a single country.

National scale ratings are not directly comparable with the international ratings or with national ratings in other countries. Consequently, national ratings are identified by the addition of a special suffix for the country concerned, such as 'AAA(tha)' for National Ratings in Thailand.

This report should be read in conjunction with Fitch's 'National Scale Ratings Criteria', dated March 7, 2017.
The special report is available at '' and ''.
