SET announces SET indices semi-annual review results to be used in first half of 2018

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announces the semi-annual index review results for the SET50, SET100, sSET and SETHD indices to be used in the first half of 2018 (Jan 1 - June 30). There will be 6 additions to SET50 Index,13 additions to SET100 Index, 14 additions to sSET Index and 8 additions to SETHD Index.

SET50 Index (SET50): 6 companies to be added as index constituents are Bangchak Corporation pcl (BCP), Beauty Community pcl (BEAUTY), Central Plaza Hotel pcl (CENTEL), TPI Polene Power pcl (TPIPP), Srisawad Corporation pcl (SAWAD) and WHA Corporation pcl (WHA). Total market capitalization of the SET50 Index is approximately THB 11 trillion (Approx. 333.3 billion) or 66 percent of the total SET's market capitalization as of end-November 2017.

SET100 Index (SET100): 13 companies to be added as index constituents are Esso (Thailand) pcl (ESSO), Global Green Chemicals pcl (GGC), Hana Microelectronics pcl (HANA), Jay Mart pcl (JMART), JWD Infologistics pcl (JWD), MC Group pcl (MC), Origin Property pcl (ORI), Precious Shipping pcl (PSL), Siamgas and Petrochemicals pcl (SGP), Sri Trang Agro-Industry pcl (STA), TPI Polene Power pcl (TPIPP), Univentures pcl (UV) and WHA Utilities and Power pcl (WHAUP). Total market capitalization of the SET100 Index is approximately THB 12 trillion or 74 percent of the total SET's market capitalization as of end-November 2017.

Total constituents of sSET Index (sSET) will be 113 compared to 118 in the previous review. Total market capitalization of the sSET Index is approximately THB 0.8 trillion or 5 percent of the total SET's market capitalization as of end-November 2017.

SET High Dividend 30 Index (SETHD): 8 companies to be added as index constituents are Advance Info Service pcl (ADVANC),Bangkok Airways pcl (BA), Bangkok Land pcl (BLAND), Hana Microelectronics pcl (HANA), Intouch Holdings pcl (INTUCH), Land and Houses pcl (LH), MC Group pcl (MC) and PTT pcl (PTT). SETHD's dividend yield of 4.58 percent, is higher than SET's dividend yield of 2.83 percent as of end-November 2017.
