Bangkok--15 Feb--KASIKORNBANK

Mr. Predee Daochai, KBank President and Ms. Smorn Terdthumpiboon (second from left), President of Thailand Post Co., Ltd., join forces in promoting the cashless society through the use of dynamic QR code, a cutting-edge payment technology, as a safe and convenient payment channel. With this service, mobile phone users can make bill payments instantly by using any mobile banking app to scan QR code on the EDC terminal. Since there is no need to use cash and enter the payment amount, the dynamic QR code payment service helps consumers reduce the risk of carrying a huge amount of cash and bolster Thailand Post's cash management efficiency. The pilot QR code payment service is now being introduced to Thailand Post's personnel and counter parties before offering it to customers at Thailand Post offices and payment counters nationwide in the future.
