TMB appoints Chompoonoot Pathomporn as Chief SME Banking Officer

TMB has appointed Ms. Chompoonoot Pathomporn, Head of Branch Banking, as Chief SME Banking Officer, effective from August 1, 2018, Mr. Piti Tantakasem, TMB Chief Executive Officer, announced.

Ms. Chompoonoot has started working at TMB since 2009 as Head of Corporate Services and has made advancement in the Bank. After accomplishing her assignment in leading the changes in facility management, procurement, and corporate services, Ms. Chompoonoot was appointed as Head of Human Resources where she turned over a new leaf on TMB human resources management through the HR Transformation program. With her achievement in Human Resources, she was later entrusted to lead Branch Banking business.

Ms. Chompoonoot has played a key role in changing the way branches work through the Branch Transformation program, resulting in the remarkable achievements of double sales volume; expansion of Wealth Banking service; establishment of intensive sales and training; improvement of the way of working, including the introduction of the TMB's first Agile team; and establishing a new investment consultant team for the TMB Advisory service which is enabled by remote communication technology. In addition, she has initiated the close collaboration among Retail, SME and Business Banking to improve the overall customer experience. She has also ignited ideas for changes outside business by bringing together TMB branch staff to volunteer for FAI-FAH's Community Development for Sustainability program, in which they have completed more than 100 community projects around the country so far.

Mr. Piti said, "With her skills, work experience and good customer understanding, I am confident that Khun Chonpoonoot will be able to further strengthen TMB SME in order to continue to serve customers efficiently; meet customer needs, allowing customers to "Get MORE"; and enhance customer experience as we aim for."

Ms. Chompoonoot succeeded Ms. Tientip Narach who resigned from TMB.
