Bangkok--10 Oct--Krungthai Card

KTC and Fitbit (NYSE: FIT), the leading global wearables brand, announced that starting October 10, 2018 Fitbit Pay(TM) will be available to its customers in Thailand with a Fitbit Ionic or Fitbit Versa and starting November 2018, on its newest tracker, Fitbit Charge 3. Fitbit Paylaunch in Thailand brings convenience and freedom to KTC users so they can leave their smartphone and wallet at home, and make secure purchases at stores where contactless payments are accepted. Customers of KTC can add a Visa or Mastercard credit card to their Fitbit(TM) app, and use their device to make payments on the go directly from their wrist, which caters to the lifestyles of health-conscious consumers who have a penchant for convenience, immediacy and secure financial transactions. In preparation to proliferate promotions to stimulate members; KTC will be offering 5% cash back promotion for consumers making over five transactions within a month at over 40 merchants.

Ms. Pittaya Vorapanyasakul, Executive Vice President - Credit Card Business, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, states, "KTC prioritizes meeting members' needs by developing its technology as quintessential to the creation of new services to provide conveniency and consistent amazing customer experiences, all the while expanding its alliances to cover members' varied lifestyles in a cashless society. Our partnership to launch Fitbit Pay in Thailand will alleviate service, and expand payment channels for members' increased convenience, without endorsing credit cards as the only payment method."

Fitbit Pay transactions use an industry standard tokenization platform for all transactions. User's card information is never revealed or shared with merchants or Fitbit. Plus, a PIN is chosen by the user during device set-up for an added layer of protection.

"KTC wishes members will get chances to experience Fitbit Pay across multiple partners in the country from October 10, 2018 to December 31, 2018. Therefore, KTC has also established a 5% cash back promotion for members who make over five payments using KTC credit cards through Fitbit Pay per card and month (get cash back on spending not exceeding 5,000 Baht/month/card) at over 40 merchants that cover all lifestyle categories, including Movies i.e. Major Cineplex / SF Cinema; Restaurants i.e. A&W / After You / ChikaLicious / Coffee Beans by Dao / Domino's Pizza / HOT POT / Huasenghong Dimsum / Jeffer Steak & Sea Food / McDonald's / S&P / Yayoi; Supermarkets i.e. all Big-C branches / CJ Express / Gourmet Market / Jiffy convenient stores located in PPT gas stations / Maxvalu; Cafes i.e. Cafe Amazon / Inthanin located in Bangchak gas stations / Coffee World; Other merchants i.e. Adidas / Beauty Buffet / Boots / Beautiful Optical / Better Vision / Cath Kinston / Giffarine / Amway / Health Land / Kiss Me Doll / Lyn Around and Pandora."
