Mr. Nopporn Thepsithar (fifth left), Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) and Dr. Narongchai Akarasanee (center), former Minister of Energy, recently visited Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Project partially financed by EXIM Thailand, located in Lao PDR. The parties were welcomed by Mr. Plew Trivisvavet (fourth left), Chairman of Executive Board of CH. Karnchang Pcl. and CK Power Pcl. The Xayaburi Hydroelectric Power Project will help enhance Thailand's power grid security by supplying electricity to Thailand in response to the increasing power demand following national economic growth. The project is scheduled to complete and start generating the electricity in October 2019.
