KBank unveils K PLUS Market as a new platform for credit card reward point redemption

KBank has launched K PLUS Market on K PLUS as a new platform for over 1.75 million K-Credit Card holders to use their reward points to immediately redeem quality products of numerous brands at over 600 merchants. The move is aimed at ensuring that our credit card holders get the products that are more to their liking and increase sales opportunities for the participating merchants.

Mr. Patchara Samalapa, KBank President, said that K PLUS Market is a platform on K PLUS that links over 11 million buyers with more than 600 merchants, which include manufacturers, distributors, brand owners and retail operators in the F&B, health & beauty, mother & child, clothing, ornament, electrical appliance, electronic equipment, entertainment and lifestyle businesses. Currently, the number of products available on K PLUS Market increases 1,300 items/month. We have selected only products with copyrights and merchants that offer quality products and have experience in online sales. Most importantly, our customers can choose to pay by cash or credit card reward points. They will also be able to use reward points of our business partners in the future, as well.

Since its debut, more than 6 million customers have viewed K PLUS Market, or 1.8 million customers/month. The most popular products sold on K PLUS Market include F&B, bubble milk tea, electrical appliance, electronic equipment, clothing and ornaments.

From today until August 15, 2019, KBank presents a special promotion to double the value of reward points, i.e., only 1,000 points from the normal rate of 2,000 points for a movie ticket, 14,000 points from 28,000 points for Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum, 2,500 points from 5,000 points for a Fuji Restaurant gift voucher, and 167,500 points from the normal rate of 335,000 points for a Rimowa luggage.

K-Credit Card customers can easily redeem reward points for merchandise in the K PLUS Market:
  • Enter K PLUS, press the "K + Market" menu button on the left of the transaction or "Banking" button in the first page. Customers can check their reward points when linking their credit card with K PLUS.
  • Choose products or services.
  • Click to make payment by redeeming K-Credit Card points. For digital coupons, they are immediately available in "My Orders" menu in the first page of K PLUS. For other merchandise, the merchants will send products to the address specified by the customers within 10 working days. If there is any delivery problem, customers can contact Call Center at 0-2888-8888, press823, for assistance.
