PTT announces interim dividend payment arranging for investments according to the business plan to createsustainable growth, as well as supporting the government policy to ease the cost of living as Thai people

Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron, President & Chief Executive Officer, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), said that today, (27 September 2019) PTT's Board of Director therefore, resolved to pay dividends for the first half of the year 2019 while responding to the government policies to help ease the cost of living of the public. Even though the economy is at sluggish stage, PTT has a mission to build confidence for its investors, through continuous investment in vital projects in accordance with the business plan including

supporting government policies to strengthen the country's economic security.

The Board of Directors has approved the payment of interim dividends to the shareholders at the rate of 0.9 baht per share. Representing dividends payout ratio approximately 47.1% of the net income in the consolidated financial statements and dividend yield 4.3% as expected by the investors. Whereas, The Ministry of Finance, a major shareholder of PTT will receive dividends totaling over 16 billion baht, while, over 100,000 shareholders of institutions and public will receive dividends approximately over 10 billion baht. Therefore, the total dividend that will be paid to all shareholder is about 26 billion baht, stimulating the country's economy. The XD (Exclude Dividend) date is set to be on 10 th October 2019 and the dividends is set to be paid to the shareholders on 25 th October 2019.

PTT has continued its investment in accordance with the sustainable business management framework, which strive to balance in all 3 dimension of PTT 3Ps: People, Planet and Prosperity.

In addition, PTT's Board has resoluted to support the government's policy to alleviate the cost of living for the Thai people by the mean of supporting LPG price for retailers, hawker, and food stalls via state welfare cards for the 88,189 rightful holder. A discount of 100 baht per month will be given those who buy LPG from gas store that are registered through the Comptroller General's Department via Electronic Data Capture (EDC), a devices of Krung Thai Bank for 3 months from October to December 2019 within the total budget of 30 million baht. It is a pilot project of PTT in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance to regulate the database of the registered person that deserves direct support, in accordance with the civil state welfare cardholder information for the reduction of LPG prices.

Moreover, the economy will be stimulatd through dividends for the Ministry of Finance and more than 100,000 shareholders in the amount of approximately 26 billion baht on October 2019 to create growth and sustainability for the Thai economy and society.
