Global Wellness Day Thailand – Discover Thai Wellness

Friday 05 June 2015 19:11
Global Wellness Day is an entirely not-for-profit day, a social platform created by volunteers dedicated to living well. Global Wellness Day (GWD) is the one day that may change your whole life. GWD showcases leading wellness educators who collectively have many years of wellness and wellness related knowledge to share, with something for the whole family. This is the first time this global social platform, founded in Turkey in 2012, has expanded into Asia, with Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia, just some of the more than thirty countries around the world that are organizing their own Global Wellness Day on the 2nd Saturday in June.

Global Wellness Day Thailand offers three FREE seminars, four FREE workshops and a wellness market – something for the whole family for your wellness shopping pleasure.

This non-profit project, which is free and accessible by the general public will seek to promote Thai wellness by introducing activities related to exercise, healthy eating and inner health for the whole family. The day will support the Thai community in becoming part of a global vision of the shared dream of living well. The event has something to offer for young and not so young and is created in an interactive, inspiring and educational manner. From organic fruits and vegetables, to live wellness music, baby massage, home and garden well-being to Louis Dalton, there is plenty to keep you busy. Speakers and presents include Warattada Pattarodom, CEO Amity Consulting Co., Ltd., Professor Dr. Krisana Kraisintu, Rector of College of Oriental Medicine, Rangsit University, The Veggie Prince, Nakorn Limpacuptathavon, with home wellness covered by Sirichai Lertsirimit, Managing Director, Multi Green Co., Ltd.

“We all want to be healthy, look good, and live a good life, both physically and spiritually”, said Belgin Aksoy, the founder of the Global Wellness Day. “In fact, you could say that living well is practically the whole world’s shared dream.”

The GWD Thailand takes all of the stops to deliver a fun, educational day for the whole family. A chance to leave bad habits behind and to focus on a more active life for the future. Sit and listen, walk and browse or be actively involved in one of the workshops (please wear appropriate attire for the workshops).
