Central Retail launches SPOT The 1 Card making Thailand's largest loyalty program with 7.2 million members

Central Retail Corporation, Central Food Retail, and other eight business units companies have united to launch the newest CRM loyalty program: SPOT The 1 Card, a combination of the two loyalty cards tailor-made to meet every shopping demand and set to become the most powerful loyalty program in Thailand with more than 7.2 million members with expectation to grow 20 per cent of customer spending.

This allows Central Retail to become No. 1 to best understand customers. With our over 7.2 million members, we can analyze our customer behavior in every aspect. Central Retail's members are highly valued and own high purchasing power. 84% of sales come from our members. Therefore, our CRM strategy is to meet the demand of our valued customers. I hope the new loyalty partnership program will drive our sales through the cards by 20 per cent.”

To celebrate the combination of the two cards, Central Retail is holding a special campaign, 'Welcome Pack,' worth 1,195 Baht; when our members apply to the new card, as well as they are entitled to the following redemption programs:

  • 900 points of The 1 Card can be redeemed a cash voucher by SPOT Money Back worth 100 Baht.
  • 1,300 SPOT Money Back points can be redeemed for The 1 Card cash voucher valued at Baht 100.

“The new pact is not only a phenomenon in Thailand's retail industry to expand larger and stronger customer base, it's also an attraction to our trade partners to join our CRM campaign so that the best offers are made to consumers and meet their different lifestyles. In the future we will roll out more co-promotion programs by our business units. We aim to add one million new members in one year,” Mr. Rawee added.
