A native of Aix les Bains, Jean was born into a family of restauranteurs. He successfully developed his culinary skills up to the highest level and received his first star at the age of 26. With his culinary passion, he achieved two stars at the very young age of 31, establishing him as a true phenomenon in the world of gastronomy.
Jean specializes in Savoyard cuisine, the traditional cuisine of people living in the Alps, featuring the freshest of natural specialties including high quality cheese, fresh fish and juicy fruits such as apples and pears.
“My cooking is, above all, dictated by nature and by the desire to please. It is an inspired cuisine that does not compromise on taste or respect for produce – a cuisine based on the coherence of flavour and texture” he says.
Jean mingles his natural friendliness with modernity, refinement and relaxation.
Besides the food, Jean Sulpice restaurant is the preferred destination of skiing fans, with breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks.
