Emmanuel Renaut, owner of the three-star Michelin Guide rated Flocons de Sel at Megeve in the Rhone-Alpes region in south-eastern France, will be a guest chef at Fifty Five, Centara Grand at Central World, from 28 -29 October 2014.

Chef Renaut will be serving a seven-course set menu each evening, priced at Baht 9,999 per person, plus service and tax, and including a different wine matched with each course.

The menu begins with Oscietra caviar, and a course of lightly smoked salsify spaghetti with aged Tomme cheese and white Alba truffle. A cake of Lake Geneva burbot and perch is followed by a course of smoked, poached and roasted pigeon, and then by a serving of mountain flavoured venison with root vegetable mousseline. A dessert of autumn flavours is followed by a serving of pumpkin and honey lemon ice cream.

Emmanuel Renaut founded Flocons de Sel in 1998. He received his first Michelin star in 2003, the second one in 2006, and the third in 2012. He was named “Cooking Chef of the Year” in 2012.

Fifty Five is located on the top level of the 54-storey Centara Grand at CentralWorld, and features 360-degree views of Bangkok. The award-winning restaurant has its own two-storey glass-walled wine cellar.
