Final EuroFormula F3 races and World Series Test for Stuvik in Spain

Thai racing driver Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik will race the final two races of the 2014 EuroFormula Open F3 Championship at Spain’s Barcelona Circuit this coming 1-2 November. Although Stuvik secured the championship crown during the previous round at Monza, he still will push to the maximum to also take the Spanish Formula 3 Championship title, as the 3 rounds at Jerez, Portimao and Barcelona counts towards the 2014 Spanish F3 title.

The final round will be held on 1-2 November at circuit de Catalunya, Spain. Sandy said “I don’t have much pressure for this final round since I secured the Championship already. However I also set my goal to take the Spanish Championship which is integrated with the EuroFormula series. That would be my perfect weekend.

After the Catalunya race, I have to travel direct to Motorland Circuit in Alcañiz, as part of the price for winning the EuroFormula Open Championship is a test with the World Series by Renault (WSR) 3.5 series car.

This car is the closest to GP2 and I will take this opportunity as preparation and comparison for the GP2 car, which I will test a little later in Abu Dhabi after the F1 event there. The WSR 3.5 series car runs a 3.5 Liter Renault V8 engine which produces 530 HP and I know from last year’s test, that this is a challenging car to drive. However, the WSR is together with GP2 the best platform to reach Formula 1 from, so I am excited for this test.”

Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik races for the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand and is sponsored by The Pizza Company, Singha Corporation and Dacon Inspection Services and Sports Authority of Thailand.
