Every weekend from June 5 to July 19, Orchid Café and the Sunday Jazzy Brunch will showcase premium seafood flown in fresh from America.

Chefs at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok have sourced the finest sustainable, healthy and delicious American seafood to feature at the renowned Weekend Seafood Buffet and the spectacular Sunday Jazzy Brunch.

Outstanding additions to the gourmet buffets at Orchid Café and the Sunday Jazzy Brunch will include a special oyster bar offering freshly shucked Hammersley Inlet, Pickering Passage, Calm Cove and Kumamoto oysters to enjoy with a variety of accompaniments. New Orleans oysters Rockefeller and tempura fried oysters with horseradish mayonnaise, enticing appetizers of peekytoe crab cakes served with sweet corn salsa, and steamed Alaskan snow crab with lemon are also featured. Skilled chefs will prepare sushi and sashimi using sockeye salmon, Alaskan scallops, Hawaiian Hamachi, and much more.

Prized for its exceptional quality and unique flavor, the catch of American seafood will include a selection of certified sustainable oysters, hook-and-line caught Alaskan true cod, a mild and clean flavored fish with flakes of large white meat. There’ll also be rich tasting wild Sockeye red salmon from Bristol Bay, south-western Alaska, opakapaka Hawaiian king snapper, and uku Hawaiian sea bass. Chefs will work their magic with shellfish including peekytoe crab from Maine, an ingredient prized by culinary superstar Chef Thomas Keller at the highly acclaimed French Laundry in California and sweet and tender Alaskan snow crab.

Seafood lovers can feast on classic New England oyster chowder, salt crusted sockeye salmon, and pasta dishes of linguini with smoked Penn Cove mussels and smoked sardines, and peekytoe crab ravioli with crab bisque. The seafood extravaganza will end with regional American desserts including Alaskan omelette surprise, luscious blueberry pie from Maine State, and Nanaimo mousse from Washington State.
