Wildlife Friendly Skies

Mr.Vatanarak Suranartyuth, Director of ASEAN-WEN Law Enforcement Extension Office (ASEAN-WEN LEEO) co-organized with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Kenya Airway and FREELAND provided the Wildlife Friendly Skies training to officers in Kenya: Kenya Airlines flight attendants, Continental Airlines employee, Airport transportation employee, Immigration officials, Customs officials, National Park Authorities, International Organizations and Non-Governmental Organizations for two sections at the Kenya Trained Center, Nairobi, Kenya.

Mr.Raphael Kuuchi, Vice Chairman of the International Air Transport Association, government and regulator for all airlines in Africa Mr.Mbuvi Ngunze, Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Airline and more than 300 people interested and participated. The propose of this training is to realize the current wildlife crime situation, to prevent illegal wildlife trade, how to observe the suspect, understand procedures and how to report the wildlife crime by cellphone application with relevant authorities through WildScan.

In this connection, ASEAN-WEN LEEO had delivered the Wildlife Friendly Sky training material to Kenya Airline to training their staffs for over 4,000 employees.
