The artists have been commissioned to create paintings in the theme of "Thailand Through the Dragon's Brushes," in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Thai-Chinese diplomatic relations. The artworks created on this trip will be displayed in an exhibition at Bangkok's CentralWorld shopping mall on the 3rd and 4th of October.
Ms Amy Tan, Director of the Executive Office of China Daily Asia Pacific (front row, 5th left) and Mr Pana Janviroj, President of The Nation (back row, 7th right) were also on hand to welcome the artists to Bangkok. This project has been jointly organised by The Nation, China Daily and The Chinese Culture and Arts Association.
