A multi-talented artist, Jakkrit, also known as Popkapi, gained his diploma in Fine Arts and a diploma in Thai Arts from the College of Fine Arts in Bangkok. He also graduated with BFA in Printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. He lives in Bangkok where he has a studio creating his lively paintings, prints and sculpture.
"I have a playful approach to art but it comes from the heart," says Popkapi. "My paintings depict animals, people and colours in an abstract way. I feel very connected to every art piece of mine."
At The Gallery, Jakkrit will exhibit his "Popkapi" series of paintings, an exuberant and colourful collection of self-portraits expressing his different moods and light-hearted outlook on life.
The opening night is on 11th November 2015 at The Gallery on the 36th floor of Pullman Bangkok Hotel G from 18:00 – 22:00 hrs.
