Khunying Jawaratana Tejavej, Special Advisor, and Mr. Phillip Couvaras, Area Manager and General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok officiated the Superhero Charity Christmas Tree 2015 Lighting Ceremony to raise funds for the "Breakfast for Kids" Programme for needy children of the CCF Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the hotel's Lobby Lounge.

The Superhero Charity Christmas Tree 2015 allows guests to purchase gingerbread cookies in superhero mask and write wish message on a Golden Christmas Star Card prior to hanging on the Christmas tree in the main lobby until 31 december 2015.

Honourary guests joining the event included Mrs. Joanne and Mr. Gabriel Liow, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore; Dr. Kanchada Piriyarangsan, National Director of the CCF Foundation; and Ms. Supavadee Sitikhonpibulaya, Director of Bangrak District, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
