Highly regarded restaurant at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok set to reach new heights.

Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok announces the appointment of Roberto Parentela as Italian chef at Attico restaurant.

Originally from Turin, Roberto brings to Attico eight years of wide-ranging experience in Europe as well as Thailand. He began his culinary career as a cook in Italy before relocating to France, there holding positions including commis chef and chef de partie at distinguished venues in Menton in the French Riviera. Roberto would later return to Italy and assume a head chef position, before making a major move to Asia.

His experience in Thailand includes work with a number of prominent Italian chefs in Bangkok, primarily as part of work for highly regarded Zanotti restaurant and catering group. In addition to head chef for Zanotti's Limoncello restaurant, Roberto held the same position at lauded Vesper restaurant and cocktail bar in Bangkok.

Now at Attico and taking on duties from 15 January 2016, Roberto Parentela will apply his considerable creativity and imagination towards enhancing Attico's already lofty reputation.

Tuscan-inspired Attico serves Italian cuisine in a delightfully rustic setting featuring spectacular 28th-floor views. Seasonal menus feature homemade pasta, gnocchi, premium antipasto and prime imported meat and seafood. Attico likewise is known for its tempting displays of cured meats, artisanal cheeses and signature home-baked breads. The restaurant's wine cellar holds an extensive selection of Italian vintages, including rare Tuscan wines as well as numerous Old and New World varieties.
