Dine in the Dark Makes Donation to Foundation for the Blind in Thailand

The unique culinary experience, Dine in the Dark at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, recently made a donation of THB 270,000 to the Skills Development Center for the Blind, part of the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand and under the Royal Patronage of H.M. Queen Sirkit.

Guests at Dine in the Dark are served a meal in total darkness by visually impaired staff, some of whom are from the Skills Development Center for the Blind. Khun Ying Uraiwan Sirinupong, President of the foundation was invited to the hotel to receive the cheque for THB 270,000.

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is the first 5-star hotel to host Dine in the Dark. The one-of-a-kind experience is designed to raise awareness about blindness and raise funds for local charities dedicated to enriching the life of the visually impaired. For each diner, the hotel will make a donation to the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand.
