Gerard started to play the saxophone as a young 13 year old kid in Holland in the year 1975, and since then he has performed in over 60 countries, including Greece, Spain, Turkey, Morocco, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the US, Britain, Saudi Arabia and many more. Gerard also entered the stage together with big stars such as Tina Turner, INXS, Robbie Williams and DJs Carl Cox and Sven Väth.
Now, in 2015, the virtuous Sax Idol is back in Thailand again and will have music lovers begging for more at the revered JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa! Gerard is appointed as the resort's Entertainment Manager, with focus on "Sunset Sax" live performances right on the beach, and performances at the resort-owned "Czar Bar" and the Mediterranean restaurant "Olive".
