The Chinese sections of Seasonal Tastes' stimulating international buffets will be particularly enriching from Thursday, June 30 2016 through to Sunday, July 10, 2016, as two distinguished chefs from The Westin Xian swing into town to recreate the dishes that are going down a treat in China these days.

Wang Yi, or "Charles", and Wang Xiaoli, or "Alex", are renowned in the capital city of Shaanxi, starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, for their authenticity, creativity and uncompromising quality. And Seasonal Tastes' guests have the chance to discover why according to the following schedule:

-Weekday Lunch Buffet Priced at THB 1,190(30 June-1 July & 4-8 July at 12 pm – 2.30 pm)
-Seafood and Grill Dinner Buffet Priced at THB 2,490(1-2 & 8-9 July at 6pm – 10.30 pm)
-Dine Around Sunday Lunch Priced at THB 2,490(3 & 10 July at 12 pm – 3 pm)
Menu highlights include:
-Biang Biang Noodle ?

"Biang Biang" is the onomatopoeic name the noodles are given, referring to the sound the chef makes when he pulls the dough into noodles and bangs them against the table. "Biang Biang" noodles is thick, fat and long each like belt like strand noodle is a must-try, as it is considered as one of the 10 strange wonders in Shaanxi province. It is served dry with toppings of chili with fatty pork belly or lean meat.

-Rice Noodles ("Liang Pi") with chili oil and vinegar ??????

Cold noodles are generally made from the wheat or rice flour through steaming. Cold noodles are served after they are mixed with gluten, bean sprouts, sliced cucumber, chili oil, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic sauce. It is usually served as cold snack. Sometimes, they can be served as a hot snack after they are stir-fried with sliced meat, sausage and greens

-Chinese Hamburger "Rou Jia Mo" ???

"Rou Jia Mo" is the version of a Western Hamburger served together with Pita-like bread with specially marinated fatty pork (fresh ginger, shallot, cinnamons, aniseeds) that is slow cooked for 3-4 hours the succulent pork is then chopped to mincemeat and served in between the bread.
