Herbalife Holds RUN&RIDE 2016 with a day Magazine to Advocate Healthy, Active Lifestyle.

Herbalife recently hosted the fun-filled Run & Ride 2016, in cooperation with a day magazine, at Central Festival EastVille. Over 2,300 participants joined the exciting event that turned out to be a huge success! The main goals of this challenge were to promote outdoor exercises for good health and tohelp build a strong spirit of family and community. Part of the proceeds from all registration fees will go to the Plook Loei forest conservation project in Nan Province.

Herbalife continues its mission to encourage people to live a healthy and active lifestyle by co-hosting the "RUN&RIDE 2016 by HERBALIFE at Central Festival EastVille". The Praditmanutham Road was transformed into an exciting sports track as runners and bikers of all levels, gathered at the starting line. Bikers kicked off the first race at 5 am, with a 30-km challenge. They were followed shortly after by the runners doing the 12.5 km Mini-marathon, and finally, by the fun run participants who ran 6 km.

Herbalife gave away protein shakes to the participants, in order to boost their performance. Mr. Suphot Rittipichaiwat, General Manager of Herbalife Thailand, was present during the race and award ceremony. "It is very encouraging to see that more and more people in Thailand are following the health and wellness trend. Herbalife is pleased to remind everyone through activities like Run and Ride 2016 that a good balance between exercise and nutrition are key to a healthy, happy life," he said.

Family and friends of all participants came to cheer them on. After the sporting event, they all gathered at the RUN&RIDE booths inside Central Festival EastVille for a series of fun activities. The venue, under the ENERGY VIILLE theme, was divided into four zones: Health, Shopping, Workshop and Energy Battle.

At the Health Zone, Herbalife nutritionists shared easy tips on how nutrition can help boost one's energy for daily activities and for sports performance. Many health enthusiasts came to the booth to get information and to measure their physical strength.

We are proud to be part of this fun-filled activity that promotes health, interaction with family and community members and also, love for the environment by supporting the Plook Loei Forest Conservation Project," Mr Suphot added.
