Amatara Wellness Resort appoints Eric Weber as GM

Amatara Wellness Resort, one of Southeast Asia's premier wellness resort destinations has announced the appointment of its new General Manager, Mr. Eric Weber with effect from 26th September 2016. Mr.Weber brings with him over 27 years of hospitality management experience and will have overall responsibility for delivering ultimate guest satisfaction at Amatara Wellness Resort.

Previously, he has worked for various leading hotels across South East Asia, the Middle East, India and Europe, including Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula and Hyatt hotel groups.

In his new role with Amatara, Mr. Weber is responsible for the day-to-day management of delivering guest satisfaction and devising marketing and revenue management strategies to ensure the continuing growth and successes of Amatara.

Dr. Prattana Punnakitikashem, Managing Director, Amatara A Destination Spa, has welcomed Weber's appointment at Amatara, commenting: "With 27 years of experience in hospitality management, Eric is a great addition to our team. Having his expertise at GM level will be an incredible asset to promote Amatara as a leading Wellness Resort and to achieve our vision goal to be one of the Top five Wellness Destinations in Southeast Asia. Eric Weber graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland.
