Phongsthorn Thavisin (right), Chief Operating Officer, Production Asset and Operations Support Group, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), represented the company to receive the SPE Distinguished Corporate Support Award, Northern Asia Pacific, from Gerry Flaherty, 2016 SPE Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) Conference Chairman. The award recognizes an organization with outstanding support and contribution to the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) members in Asia Pacific through excellence in leadership and through the commitment of time, energy and professional resources. The award was presented in the Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition held in Perth, Australia.

SPE is the largest individual-member organization that provides opportunities for professionals in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry to enhance their technical and professional competence.
