Bangkok--13 Jun--The Okura Prestige

Since the 18th Century, the mangosteen fruit has been known for its medicinal benefits. Mangosteen is packed with essential naturally-occurring polyphenol compounds known as xanthones and it contains an abundance of nutrients that include calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc and sodium. This incredibly healthy fruit is also rich in proteins, carbohydrates and fiber. The combined therapeutic qualities of these constituents help to combat cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels among other conditions. The fruit is also a wonderful anti-oxidant with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Now guests at The Okura Prestige Bangkok can experience the benefits of this super fruit through a relaxing 90-minute mangosteen exfoliating cream scrub and aroma massage administered in the tranquil confines of The Okura Spa.

Purple Pampering treatment begins with a mangosteen body scrub designed to open up the pores of the skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple and refreshed. The second part of the treatment is an aroma massage which eases stress, revives tired muscles and awakens the senses to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

As a special offer, spa goers choosing this treatment will also receive a complimentary mangosteen soap by HARNN.
Purple Pampering treatment is available daily at The Okura Spa from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., 1 July - 30 September 2017, price: Baht 3,800++ per person.
